The Twin City Tour takes you through Cebu City’s rich heritage with stops at historical sites like Magellan’s Cross, Basilica Minore del Santo Niño, Fort San Pedro, Casa Gorordo, and the Taoist Temple. Then you cross over to Mactan Island to visit important landmarks such as the Lapu-Lapu/Mactan Shrine and a guitar factory where you can see local craftsmanship. Along the way you’ll learn about Filipino history, culture, and craftsmanship all in one fun and informative tour.

Magellan's Cross



Magellan's Cross is a 1521 Christian relic housed in an octagonal stone and red-tiled kiosk on Magallanes Street, Cebu City, near the Basilica Minore del Santo Niño. It commemorates the introduction of Christianity to the Philippines by Ferdinand Magellan and is believed to encase the original wooden cross.



Magellan Shrines

The Magellan Shrine in Mactan, Cebu, is a 30-meter high memorial tower erected in 1866 to honor Portuguese explorer Ferdinand Magellan at the spot where he was killed in 1521. Located in Punta Engaño, Lapu-Lapu City, it features a stone monument, a nearby 1981 bronze statue of Lapu-Lapu, and panoramic paintings depicting the Battle of Mactan.


The Heritage of Cebu Monument


The Heritage of Cebu Monument, located in the historic Parian district on Zulueta St., Cebu City, is a, mixed-metal masterpiece created by artist Eduardo Castrillo and completed in 2000. This intricate sculpture, made of brass, bronze, steel, and concrete, vividly narrates Cebu's history, featuring key scenes like the Battle of Mactan, the Christianization of the Philippines, and the canonization of Saint Pedro Calungsod.

Fort San Pedro is a military defense structure in Cebu, Philippines, built by the Spanish under the command of Miguel López de Legazpi, first governor of the Captaincy General of the Philippines. It is located in the area now called Plaza Independencia, in the pier area of the city.
